Find the Right Driveway Gate for Your Property
The right gate depends on your driveway more than your preference. Slope, surface, available run along the fence line, and how often the gate opens each day all point toward a different system, and we walk through those factors with you before recommending one.
Cantilever Gates
We build cantilever gates for driveways with gravel, uneven grading, or drainage that would clog a ground track. The gate rolls on an overhead support structure instead of sitting on rails, so leaves and debris don’t interfere with how it moves. It needs a longer run along the fence to counterbalance properly, but it’s the lowest-maintenance option we offer once it’s installed.

Sliding Gates
A sliding gate travels along a ground-level track, which keeps the hardware simpler and the gate itself lighter than a cantilever. It suits driveways where the surface is stable and level and where you’d rather not extend the fence run to accommodate a counterbalance. We do recommend keeping the track clear of debris, especially through the wintertime.

Swing Gates
For flat, open driveways with enough clearance inside the property line, a swing gate gives you the classic estate look at a lower cost than a slide system. Single swing suits narrower openings; double swing splits the span across two leaves, which matters if your driveway doesn’t have the depth for one panel to clear on its own. We build both.

Fitted to Your Site
Cantilever, sliding, and swing aren’t the only decisions. We also offer telescopic gates for driveways too narrow for a standard cantilever run, bi-fold gates where opening space is tight, and radius gates for curved entrances and fence lines. All 22 of our styles apply across every one of these gate types, so the look you want and the mechanism your driveway needs aren’t in conflict. Fencing can be built alongside the gate as one continuous system rather than two separate projects.

Custom Designed,
Not Off the Shelf
We start from your property, your existing fence or entrance, and how you actually use the driveway, then design the gate around those constraints. Nothing we build is a stock size trimmed to fit.
Aluminum &
Powder Coated
We fabricate in aluminum, and finish with powder coating to hold up outdoors year-round, not just to look good on install day. On the odd occasion, we will fabricate in Steel or Stainless Steel.

Every Stage
Since all of our gates are fabricated in our own Port Kells facility rather than through a third-party shop, we control the welds, the finish, and the fit before a gate ever leaves for installation. That’s where consistency comes from.
From a Port Kells Workshop to Projects Across BC
We started in a small workshop and have since grown into two warehouse bays in Port Kells, Surrey, doing our own design, fabrication, and gate automation in-house rather than subcontracting the parts that matter most. That’s let us keep the same standard on a driveway gate for a Whistler property as we do on an industrial gate for a commercial site in Richmond.
